CARLISLE, Pa. – Bookended by two huge victories in the relays, the Franklin & Marshall women's swimming team came away with a 138-123 dual meet victory at Dickinson during the team's first road competition of the season. Sophie Moyer's presence loomed especially large in the final outcome as she won two individual events and was a member of both winning relays on Saturday. Catherine Crampton and Emma Devine also captured individual event titles while several others showcased the team's depth.

Moyer won both the 100 (1:08.78) and 200 (2:29.49) Breaststroke events, while swimming the second leg on the 200 Medley and third leg on the 200 Freestyle. Julie McFadden anchored both of those relay teams, with Sophie Bergstrom and Amelia Bothwell contributing to the winning effort in the 200 Medley. Helen Lahmann-Metcalfe and Olivia Lockey got the 200 Freestyle off to a great start with their first two legs during the final event.

Other event winners for the Diplomats were Catherine Crampton in the 200 Medley (2:14.10) and Emma Devine in the 500 Freestyle (5:25.66). Crampton backed up Moyer's finishes in the Breastroke with runner-up points. In addition to being members of the winning relay, McFadden and Bergstrom also earned crucial runner-up points during two other events throughout the meet.

Women's swimming will be back home next weekend when the Diplomats host the F&M Invitational from Friday, November 18 through Sunday, November 19. That event will start each day with preliminaries at 10 a.m. and the finals at 6 p.m.
