LANCASTER, Pa. – Franklin & Marshall's women's swimming team finished fifth out of 13 teams with 164 points after the first day of competition at their annual invitational. Washington & Lee leads the group with 258 points. 

Top Finishes (Relay) 

400-yard Medley Relay (Janashree Jonnalagadda, Tara Kupsky, Leah Williamson, Pavlov) – Fifth – 4:00.60 

200-yard Freestyle (Julia Pavlov, Katherine Hirsch, Blair Atkins, Skye Howes) – Sixth – 1:39.74 

Additional Notes: Heading into the weekend, F&M had several swimmers with times in the top-50 across Division III:


            200-yard IM – 37th – 2:13.11


            200-yard Butterfly – 49th – 2:14.28  

200-yard Medley Relay (Jonnalagadda, Atikins, Kupsky, Pavlov) – 46th – 1:52.75

Up Next: F&M is back in the pool tomorrow at 10:00 a.m. for prelims of the 50-yard freestyle, 400-yard IM, 100-yard butterfly, 200-yard freestyle, 200-yard breaststroke, 100-yard backstroke, and the finals of the 200-yard medley relay.
