Field Hockey Improves to No. 16 in NFHCA National Poll

LANCASTER, Pa.- The Franklin and Marshall field hockey team (11-4) has moved up two spots in the National Field Hockey Coaches Association Top 20 Poll this week heading into its road matchups with Muhlenberg and McDaniel to end the regular season. The Diplomats have won eight of their last nine games and are receiving 174 voting points to rank 16th in the national poll.

In the most recent week for the Diplomats, F&M suffered a 3-0 defeat to Johns Hopkins, who's currently ranked fifth in the poll. Franklin & Marshall rebounded with a big 3-2 victory over Bryn Mawr Saturday afternoon. The Diplomats have outscored their opponents 20-6 in the month of October and are looking to finish the regular season on a high note.

F&M will travel to Muhlenberg to take on the Mules Wednesday at 7:00 p.m. The Diplomats then play their final regular season game at McDaniel Saturday at 1:00 p.m.
