Series History

Franklin & Marshall returns to Lancaster for the first of four Centennial Conference (CC) contests on Wednesday night against Bryn Mawr. The Diplomats look to extend its winning streak over the Owls to 23 games dating back to 2007, having won 37 of the 38 matchups between the two teams.

The Diplomats host Muhlenberg on Saturday night.  F&M fell to the Mules last month, but had won the prior two meetings with Muhlenberg.

F&M Last Week

F&M overcame an 18-point deficit to move past McDaniel, 60-51, on Tuesday night. Kristin Hamill poured in a season-high 27 points with 12 boards for a double-double. Kenna Williams also recorded a double-double with 16 points on 7-of-11 shooting and 19 rebounds.

The Diplomats took a commanding first-quarter lead in order to survive Saturday's contest at Swarthmore, 62-57, to extend their winning steak to three games. Kristin Hamill paced the offense with 25 points on 11-of-23 from the field. Kenna Williams, Maia Lockhart, and Sarosha Parsons all scored in double figures for F&M.

Hamill Earns CC Player of the Week

Kristin Hamill was named Women's Basketball Player of the Week after a 2-0 week for F&M. Hamill averaged 26.0 points and 10.5 rebounds in a 2-0 week for the Diplomats. The senior tallied 27 points, 12 boards, three assists, two steals, and a block while shooting 9-of-10 at the free-throw line on Tuesday at McDaniel. Hamill followed up that performance with a 25-point showing on 11-of-23 shooting with nine rebounds in Saturday's win at Swarthmore. For the week, she shot 50% from the floor and 85.7% from the charity stripe. 

Feb. 15 Start Time Moved to 7:30 p.m.

F&M's contest with Muhlenberg on Saturday has changed to a 7:30 p.m. start time in Lancaster. The game was originally slated for a 1:00 p.m. start.

Playoff Watch

With four games left on F&M's CC slate, the Diplomats sit at 7-9. That mark is good for No. 7 in the Conference, 1.5 games back of Swarthmore (9-8) for the No. 5 playoff spot and 1.0 games behind Muhlenberg (8-8) for the sixth seed. 

Last Meeting with Bryn Mawr

The Diplomats won by 50 points, 74-24, when the team went to Bryn Mawr in December. Kristin Hamill's 18 points paced the offense. Alisyn Narracci poured in 12, converting 2-of-3 from distance and all four free-throw attempts.

Last Meeting with Muhlenberg

The Diplomats fell to Muhlenberg, 54-48, back in January despite a late surge. Kristin Hamill led all scorers with 21 points along with 11 boards for a double-double. Sarosha Parsons shot 7-of-12 from the stripe for 12 points. Maia Lockhart chipped in with seven points and three assists.

Among the Leaders (CC)

As of Feb. 10, Kenna Williams (12.5) and Kristin Hamill (8.9) are first and fourth in the CC, respectively, in rebounds per game. Williams is the one of two players in the Conference that averages double-digit boards. Williams also holds the Conference lead with 1.9 blocks per game.

In free-throw shooting, Hamill (73.4) and Williams (70.6 percent) sit sixth and seventh, respectively, on the CC leaderboard. Players must participate in 60 percent of their team's contests and make two free throws per game to qualify for the free-throw shooting title.

Among the Leaders (NCAA)

Through Feb. 7, Kenna Williams is ranked third in all of Division III with 5.9 offensive rebounds per game. The sophomore recorded a season-high 12 offensive boards against Gettysburg on Jan. 29.

Williams is also tied for 16th in the nation in overall rebounds per game at 12.2.

Top of the Charts

F&M corrals 44.2 total rebounds per game, the top mark in the Conference. With 4.4 blocks per game, the Diplomats are 0.4 blocks behind Haverford (4.8 blocks per game) for the CC lead.

The Diplomats are also the second-most efficient team at the free-throw line at 71.6 percent. Johns Hopkins holds the edge at 72.1 percent.

Milestone Watch

Kristin Hamill enters the week with 1,200 career points, 13th in F&M history and 51 away from becoming 10th on the all-time F&M leaderboard and 50 away from becoming the  the 11th Diplomat to tally 1,250 career points. The senior center sits seventh on the career rebounds list with 733. Hamill is 89 rebounds away from entering the top-six in program history.

Kenna Williams is eighth in program history with 80 career blocks. She needs 20 more to become just the sixth Diplomat to record 100 career blocks. The sophomore is two away from passing Emmma Lisle '14 for sixth on the F&M charts.

Hamill Records 1,000th Point

Kristin Hamill became the 18th Diplomat to tally 1,000 points when she poured in 16 against Haverford on Dec. 4. The senior is the first to reach the threshold since Haley Pilone '19.

Elbon Notches 100th Victory

Interim head coach Beth Elbon earned her 100th career victory at the helm of the Diplomats with F&M's 51-50 victory over Colby in the Smith Holiday Tournament on Dec. 29. Elbon is the second coach in the history of the program that has tallied 100 wins.

Hamill's 700th Board

Kristin Hamill recorded her 700th career rebound against Washington on Saturday, becoming the fifth Diplomat to record both 1,000 career points and 700 career boards.
