LANCASTER, Pa. – Franklin & Marshall's women's basketball team came back from an 11-point first-half deficit to take a 72-57 victory over Dickinson in Centennial Conference (CC) play on Saturday.

The Diplomats improved to 2-2, 1-0 CC while the Red Devils fell to 0-4, 0-1 CC.

After Dickinson's early 11-10 lead, the Red Devils went on a 12-5 run, including eight unanswered points, to take a 23-15 advantage after the opening frame.

The Red Devils expanded their lead to 30-19 early in the second. A pair of Kenna Williams free throws ignited F&M on a 17-4 run, capped by a Kristin Hamill three-pointer with five seconds left to take a 36-34 lead entering the break.

F&M held a 37-36 advantage with 8:18 left in the third. Hamill drilled another three-pointer to begin a 13-4 run for the Diplomats that included five points from Emily Moran. A brief Red Devil comeback made the score 53-46 entering the final stanza.

Dickinson stayed within arms reach until a Sarosha Parsons layup put the Diplomats up by double digits for good, 64-54. F&M outscore Dickinson, 8-3, the rest of the way to take the 72-57 victory.

Hamill paced the offense with 19 points, including 3-of-5 from behind the arc. Williams finished with 16 points.

Parsons finished with 11 points and 13 rebounds for a double-double.

Alisyn Narracci poured in eight points, including a pair of three-pointers, off the bench.

After outrebounding Dickinson just 18-15 in the first half, F&M dominated the boards in the second, 29-15, en route to an overall rebounding advantage of 47-30.

The Diplomats also dominated from distance, shooting 7-for-13 (53.8 percent) from three compared to Dickinson's 4-for-19 (21.1 percent) from behind the arc.

F&M returns to CC action on Tuesday, heading to Gettysburg for the first road game of the season at 6:00 p.m.
