Phillips, Pelusi Represent F&M Wrestling in National Rankings

LANCASTER, Pa. – The Franklin & Marshall wrestling team was represented by both Pat Phillips (133 lbs.) and Cenzo Pelusi (285 lbs.) in the latest Intermat and FloWrestling rankings. Phillips earned the No. 33 ranking by InterMat and is an honorable mention honoree by FloWrestling. Pelusi is the 24th-ranked heavyweight according to FloWrestling.

Now in his true sophomore season, Phillips is off to a 4-1 start after last night's technical fall victory against Elizabethtown. Phillips' early season has been highlighted by a second place finish at the Southeast Open where he defeated returning All-American Sam Latona of Virginia Tech and picked up a key EIWA victory over Columbia's Angelo Rini. Phillips currently owns a career record of 19-12 with the Diplomats.

Pelusi has yet to make his season debut as the Diplomats' veteran will return to competition during the spring semester. Since arriving at F&M, Pelusi has compiled a 35-23 record and is coming off of his first EIWA placement after fininshing seventh a season ago. The senior currently has 42 career wins to his collegiate resume.

After opening its dual season with a 32-9 win at home against Elizabethtown, the Diplomats return to action this Sunday when the team heads to Binghamton's Jonathan Kaloust Bearcat Open.
