WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. – The Franklin & Marshall men's track & field wrapped up its season on Thursday evening at the MIT Last Chance Meet. In pursuit of personal bests, the Diplomats competed admirably and came away with a top five finish and two other sixth-place showings in the field full of national hopefuls.

Running the final race of his collegiate career, senior captain Ryan Braun posted a time of 1:55.41 in the 800 meters. His time was exactly tied with teammate Alex Fillman as the duo matched to the one-hundredth of a second. In the field events, Jack Rodenberger saved his best effort on Thursday for last as his sixth throw of 51.65 meters ranked him fifth in the talented field.

With the season now completed, Braun will graduate with his degree in government and economics. Athletically for Fillman, he will return to campus for his senior campaign with the 2022 cross country season. Rodenberger will hit the gridiron this fall as a kicker/punter for the football program before rejoining his track & field teammates for the winter and spring seasons.
