LANCASTER, Pa. – The Franklin & Marshall men's and women's tennis teams were both honored for their excellence in the classroom, as each program received the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) All-Academic Team Award. In addition to both teams being recognized for their academic achievements, six members of the men's team and eight from the women's team were named ITA Scholar-Athletes.
Anthony Casale, Alexander Cooke, Ben Cooke, Pedro Norte, Isaac Rockower, and Tristan Steffe all earned individual recognition on the men's side. Meanwhile, Hayley Bidwell, Kayley Burke, Presley Daggett, Cassidy Landau, Ella Mure, Mackenzie Sherman, Emily Tsai, and Caroline Ulrich received those same honors for the women's team.
To be named an ITA Scholar-Athlete, a student-athlete must have a grade-point average of at least 3.5 during the past academic year. ITA All-Academic Team status is granted to programs that have a maintained a cumulative team grade-point average of 3.2 or above during the academic year.
