Three Diplomats Named All-Centennial

LANCASTER, Pa. -- Three members of the Franklin & Marshall men's tennis team were named All-Centennial Conference, the league announced Friday. Adrian Charchalis was named to the First Team in singles for the second straight season, while Justin Pace earned a spot on the Second Team for singles. Charchalis and Isaac Rockower also earned spots on the Second Team for doubles.

Charchalis racked up seven victories at #1 singles, including four in conference play. His best stretch came over three consecutive matches in April, winning against Dickinson, Gettysburg, and Ursinus.

Pace led the Diplomats with nine victories this year, all coming at #2 singles. He rolled through the start of the year, racking up a perfect spring break against Rhoads, St. Lawrence, and Coe. He continued that stretch of play with five Centennial wins, dropping only to ranked opponents in the month of April.

Charchalis and Isaac Rockower won six matches this spring, competing as a duo at #1 doubles. They pulled together a three match winning streak, starting against No. 28 Haverford on the road, then continuing against Dickinson and Gettysburg. When they weren't winning, they were coming awfully close - taking three different opponents into a tiebreaker.
