  • Men's Squash Tripped Up at No. 22 Bates
    December 04, 2022
    The No. 15 Franklin & Marshall men?s squash team fell to No. 22 Bates, 7-2, Sunday morning. Kyle Broadhurst and and Marco DiFilippo picked up the wins out of the No. 3 and No. 4 slots, respectively. Broadhurst defeated his opponent in five games for his fifth win of the season. DiFillipo followed Broadhurst with a clean sweep in his match. Jordan Sprecher (No. 2) and Samuel Freed (No. 8) put up hard-fought fights by taking their matches to five-games, but were outlasted in the fifth set.

    The Franklin & Marshall men’s squash team pushed past No. 15 Tufts, 5-4, Saturday afternoon at Mayser Center. Petr Nohel, Kyle Broadhurst, and Evann Tan picked up wins out of the No. 1, No. 3, and No 9 slot respectively as each player took four games to earn the victory. Jordan Sprecher outlasted his opponent in a five-game thriller out of the No. 2 slot. Flavio Hinostroza climbed back from a two-game deficit by winning three-straight games to win in the No. 6 slot.

F&M hosts Dickinson on Friday, Penn on Saturday, and Chatham on Sunday. The Diplomats are 10-2 all-time against Dickinson, 14-40 all-time against Penn, and 1-2 all-time against Chatham.
