Diplomats Downed By Engineers in Consolation Playoff, 6-3

PHILADELPHIA, Pa. -- No. 16 Franklin & Marshall men's squash finished up its run in the CSA National Collegiate Men's Team Championships with a 6-3 loss in the consolation playoff to No. 15 MIT. The eighth-seeded Diplomats finished in eighth place in the Hoehn Cup.

Marco DiFilippo made quick work of his opponent at the #8 spot on the ladder with an 11-5, 12-10, 11-3 victory. Petr Nohel and Flavio Hinostroza also picked up narrow five-game victories at #1 and #6 for the Diplomats.

F&M now prepares for the CSA Individual Championships which begin on Friday, Mar. 4.
