Diplomats Tripped By Chatham In Consolation Semis, 6-3

PHILADELPHIA, Pa. -- No. 16 ranked and eighth-seeded Franklin & Marshall men's squash put together a valiant effort against the fifth-seeded Chatham, but ultimately fell 6-3 in the CSA National Collegiate Men's Team Championships consolation semifinals.

F&M now moves to the Hoehn Cup consolation playoff against MIT on Sunday afternoon beginning at 2:30 p.m. The Diplomats meet up with the Engineers for the third time this season, splitting a pair of 5-4 finishes.

Petr Nohel and Evann Tan picked up 3-0 victories at the #1 and #9 slots, while Flavio Hinostroza battled for a five-game win at #6. Three additional matches also finished in five-games, as Aryan Parekh, Jordan Sprecher, and Marco DiFilippo took their opponents to the limit but came up just short in the deciding game.
