Men's Squash Places Fourth At MASC Championships

LANCASTER, Pa. -- No. 14 Franklin & Marshall men's squash dropped a narrow one to No. 16 MIT, 5-4, in the 3rd Place Playoff of the Mid-Atlantic Squash Conference (MASC) Championships on Sunday afternoon at Lancaster Country Day.

The two sides split the first four rungs of the ladder, before MIT took three of the bottom five slots to sneak past the Diplomats. Aryan Parekh picked up a 3-0 win at No. 2, while Jordan Sprecher and Marco DiFilippo both grabbed 3-1 victories in the No. 4 and No. 8 slots, and Flavio Hinostroza battled out a 3-2 win at the No. 7 rung.

F&M now travels to face a pair of opponents on Saturday, dueling with Dickinson and Haverford at 1:00 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. at Haverford.
