USILA All-Americans

LANCASTER, Pa. – The Franklin & Marshall men's lacrosse team had two players recognized as United States Intercollege Lacrosse Association All-Americans as announced by the national organization. A.J. Rigsby and Will DeMuth were both named honorable mention picks to the national team.

A.J. Rigsby earned his most recent honors after receiving second-team USILA All-American accolades following the 2021 season. More recently, he was selected as the 2022 Centennial Conference Offensive Player of the Year and a second-team USA Lacrosse All-American. During his senior season, Rigsby set career highs across the board with 38 goals, 35 assists, 73 points, 143 shots, and 47 ground balls. He was at the top of his game during conference play as he led the CC in both points (41) and assists (19), while ranking third in goals (22), on his way to being named the top offensive player. He scored multiple goals during 12 of F&M's 15 games, including five hat tricks. Rigsby went out with a bang as he concluded the year with a career-high nine-point outing on Senior Day against Washington College and followed that up with a five-goal performance at Haverford. His 113 career goals rank ninth all-time in program history.

Will DeMuth earned All-America recognition for the first time in his career with this accolade. The senior was named a first-team All-Centennial Conference selection this past spring for the first time during his career after finishing among the top players in the conference in goals (31), assists (14), and man-up goals (3). His 63 shots on goal and 106 total shots rank ninth and tenth in the conference, respectively. The Diplomats were 8-1 on the year when DeMuth scored at least two goals. Six of those multi-goal efforts were hat tricks. He scored a season-high five goals and added one assist against Ursinus, while also scoring four times against both Rhodes and McDaniel. DeMuth finishes his career as a two-time All-CC pick, earning second-team status a season ago.

Those two players helped men's lacrosse to a 12-4 record during the 2022 season, including a 7-1 record at home inside Shadek Stadium.
