LANCASTER, Pa. -- Franklin & Marshall senior left tackle Brian Denoncour was named to the D3football.com All-South Region Second Team announced on Tuesday. The All-South teams, selected in balloting by South Region athletic communication directors and D3football.com staff, were chosen from 246 nominations by Division III member schools. A total of 75 players were chosen.
Players nominated for All-Region are eligible to be considered for D3football.com All-America honors, which will be announced the evening of Dec. 20, in D3football.com's pregame coverage for Stagg Bowl XLVII.
Denoncour (Broomall, Pa. / The Haverford School) earned his third consecutive selection to the All-Centennial Conference First Team earlier this postseason, becoming one of only 51 players in Centennial Conference history to accomplish the feat, and the seventh Diplomat to do so. The senior left tackle graded out at 97 percent, had 45 knockdowns and added in his only career touchdown on a four-yard reception in the regular-season finale.
Franklin & Marshall ended the year with a 7-4 mark with a 5-4 record in the CC and picked up its third consecutive MAC-CC Bowl Title with a 31-13 win over Misericordia.
