Franklin & Marshall College is once again holding its Raise Our Game campaign during the month of October. The monthlong campaign supports Diplomats Athletics and is a great way to support our teams as they continue to pursue their championship aspirations.
"Raise Our Game helps to ensure that we can provide a championship level experience to our more than 650 scholar-athletes who proudly wear the Blue and White. Gifts to Raise Our Game help us provide high-level competition, along with first-class training and facilities," explained Director of Athletics & Recreation Lauren Packer Webster.
Franklin & Marshall's student-athletes have always been leaders on the field, in the classroom, and throughout the community. While our Diplomats have a tremendous history of academic and athletic excellence, the athletic department is continually looking for new and innovative ways to raise our student-athletes' experiences. For the 2022-23 academic year, a new assistant athletic director for student success, a performance enhancement coach, and a dedicated aquatics & recreation manager have joined our coaching team to better serve the F&M teams and student-athletes.
Last year, Diplomat Athletics parents, alumni, and fans showed their outpouring of support for our community with our most successful campaign ever as contributions during October totaled $364,271 from 1,789 donors. The continued investment in athletics and student-athlete experience is already paying dividends on the field as nearly all of our fall athletic teams have received some recognition in the national and regional polls.
We know these teams will continue to reach great heights during the postseason and there is equal optimism for continued success during the winter and spring seasons. With all this momentum in the athletic department, the Raise our Game campaign has set its most ambitious goal yet of $400,000 from 2,000 donors. All 27 varsity Diplomat teams are challenging their supporters to help them meet specific goals. They'll need your help and support behind that to succeed as 100 percent of your gift will go to the sport(s) you select.
