He was the captain of the 1962-63 swimming team. He won the Middle Atlantic Conference title in the 50-yard freestyle in 1963 in record time. He held College records in the 100-, 200-, and 400-yard freestyles, and in the 200-yard butterfly. He is an attorney with the firm of Betar, Zowine, and Brophy in Westport, Connecticut.
