Franklin & Marshall’s women’s cross country team finished in 22nd place amongst the 37 teams competing at the Paul Short Invitational “White” Race on Friday. Rachel Suydam paced the Diplomats with a 24:04 on the 6k circuit, good enough for 88th place in the field of 260 runners. (more)

Diplomats Compete at Dickinson Inv.

The Franklin & Marshall women’s cross country team took 11th out of 15 teams at the Dickinson Long/Short Invitational on Saturday. The Diplomats collected 163 points in the 4K race and 109 in the 6K race. (more)

Cross Country Runs Well at Spiked Shoe Invitational

Sophomore Emily Wilson placed 64th out of 187 runners to lead the Franklin & Marshall women’s cross country team at the Harry Groves Spiked Shoe Invitational on Saturday held at Penn State. (more)

Suydam Leads Women’s Charge at Little Three

Rachel Suydam led the Franklin & Marshall women’s cross country team at the 2008 Little Three Championship. The Diplomats sophomore placed 11th amongst the 50 runners in the annual race featuring F&M, Gettysburg, and Dickinson. She posted a time of 21:09, crossing 2:09 behind the race-winner, Sarah Fritz of Gettysburg. (more)

Cross Country Runs At Regionals

Freshmen Jenna Bush and Rachel Suydam ran eight seconds apart for second and third for the Diplomats, respectively. Bush recorded a time of 24:37 and Suydam was close behind with 24:45. (more)

Franklin & Marshall's Director of Athletics and Recreation, Patricia S.W. Epps, announced the hiring of John D. Stoudt of Lancaster as the College's Cross Country Coach. Stoudt is intimately familiar with the local running scene. He served as the Head Cross Country Coach at Lancaster Catholic from 2001 through 2005, and as the Head Track & Field Coach at Lancaster Catholic from 2004 through 2006. He also served as a volunteer assistant coach at Conestoga Valley for several seasons.
