NEWVILLE, Pa. - Sheena Crawley finished fifth to pace the Franklin & Marshall women's cross country team at the Centennial Conference Championships hosted by Dickinson College on a snowy Saturday afternoon. Johns Hopkins took home the team crown with 43 points, followed by Haverford (52) and Dickinson (69). The Diplomats totaled 213 points to take eighth.
Crawley completed the 6k course in 24:16.3 to nab fifth. Dickinson's Taylor Ludman captured the individual title with a mark of 23:43, edging out Haverford's Emily Lipman by just 1.3 seconds. Rounding out the top five were Hopkins' Holly Clarke (3rd/23.49.7), Dickinson's Catherine Campbell (4th/23:59.4) and Crawley.
Jessica Love was the next Diplomat to cross the finish line in 65th place with a time of 27:55.4, with Lauren Dever close behind in 66th at 27:58.1. Liz Albright (70th/28:15.6) and Mary Kate Shelley (74th/28:24.3) rounded out the F&M scoring.
The Diplomats return to action on Saturday, Nov. 12 at the Mideast Regional Championships hosted by DeSales at 11:00 am.
