Franklin & Marshall’s women’s cross country team finished 30th at this year’s NCAA Mideast Region Cross Country Championship hosted by Dickinson College. Johns Hopkins took first place, led by Ellie Clawson who finished with a time of 21:33.5.
Emma Frazier took 25th to lead Franklin & Marshall at the 2017 Centennial Conference (CC) Championship, hosted by Gettysburg on Sunday afternoon. The Diplomats finished eighth with 234 team points, while Johns Hopkins took the team title with 25 points.

LANCASTER, Pa. – Franklin & Marshall’s women’s cross country team is set to begin the 2017 season on Friday, traveling to Dickinson for the annual Little Three meet at 6:00 p.m. The Diplomats look to improve on a middle of the pack finish at regionals last year with a strong returning roster.
Franklin & Marshall finished 30th at the Mid-East Regionals hosted by DeSales University on Saturday. Johns Hopkins claimed the team title led by Felicia Koerner who won the event with a time of 21:12.
Grace Adams finished in 36th place to lead Franklin & Marshall at the 2016 Centennial Conference (CC) Cross Country Championships on Saturday afternoon at Haverford College. The Diplomats finished with a total of 243 points to take eighth place, while the team title went to Johns Hopkins with 21.
Franklin & Marshall placed four runners in the top 10 en route to a first-place team finish on Saturday at the Alvernia Invitational. The Diplomats collected just 33 points on the day, while hosts Alvernia finished second with 46.
Franklin & Marshall took 15th place out of 35 teams at the DeSales Invitational Saturday morning in women’s cross country action. Dickinson took the team title and Muhlenberg’s Jamie Pacilio took individual honors on the 6k course.
Franklin & Marshall’s women’s cross country team opens its 2016 season today, hosting the Little Three Meet which features long-time rivals Dickinson and Gettysburg. The annual competition is the first official event for a young Diplomat squad that is aiming for another quality showing at the 2016 NCAA Mid-East Regionals.
The Diplomats put together another solid year in 2015, capped off by finishing 20th out of 50 teams at the NCAA Mid-East Regionals on Nov. 14. The finish was F&M’s best in four years, dating back to 2012. Julia Zielinski led the Diplomats on the day, concluding the six-kilometer course in 23:10.7 to take 36th place overall.

The team title went to Johns Hopkins with 33 points, while the individual title went to Johns Hopkins senior Sophia Meehan with a time of 21:46.2.

F&M finished eighth in the team standings with 222 points while Johns Hopkins took the team title with 19 points as the Blue Jays took the top four individual spots. Haverford was second at 69 and Dickinson placed third with 75 points.
The Franklin & Marshall women’s cross country team is set for the Centennial Conference (CC) Championships this Saturday in Stevenson, Md. The event, hosted by Johns Hopkins on the campus of Stevenson University, will crown individual and team champions within the conference.

Franklin & Marshall’s women’s cross country team finished eighth at the Don Cathcart Invitational hosted by Salisbury University. The Diplomats finished with 197 points while Christopher Newport took the event with 51 points as the invite featured 15 teams from Division II and III.
