Phelan named CC Player of the Week

LANCASTER, Pa. - Margot Phelan, a member of the Franklin & Marshall volleyball team, has been named the Centennial Conference (CC) Player of the Week for the week of Sept. 17 - Sept. 24.

Phelan, a junior outside hitter, averaged 3.3 kills and 3.25 digs per game while serving up 13 aces in a 6-0 week for the Diplomats (12-3, 3-0 CC). She was named the Blue Jay Classic MVP after leading F&M to its first tournament title since 1993, having won four matches in 15 games.

Phelan leads the team and ranks ninth in the conference with 177 kills. She also paces the squad with 191 digs and is third in services aces (27).

The Diplomats return to action tomorrow at Gettysburg. Game time is 7 p.m.
