LANCASTER, Pa. - Washington College swept doubles and took four of the six singles matches to hand Franklin & Marshall's women's tennis team 7-2. The loss ends the Diplomats season at 4-9 (3-7 CC) while the Shorewomen improved to 11-5 (6-3 CC).

Erica Wood and Kelsey Tylus picked up F&M's wins. Wood defeated Washington's Kate Barston 6-2, 4-6 (10-8) at second singles, while Tylus defeated Mary Kelley 6-2, 6-1 at sixth singles.

F&M dropped all three doubles matches 8-4.
