BALTIMORE, Md. - The No. 14 Johns Hopkins women's tennis team won its seventh straight match with an 8-1 win over Franklin & Marshall in Centennial Conference (CC) action on Saturday.

Cecily Koss took Amanda Schubert to three sets, picking up the win at No. 5 singles by scores of 4-6, 6-4, 10-5 for the Diplomats (1-4, 0-2 CC).

Blue Jays' Brittany Matava won at first singles (6-1, 6-0) for her 49th career victory, tying Hopkins program record. Matava was one of five to win their singles match and she teamed up with Anita Bhamidipati for an 8-2 win at No. 1 doubles.

Hopkins went on to pick up four more singles matches and two doubles victories to remain undefeated.

F&M returns to action on Tuesday against Washington. Match time is 3:30 p.m.
