Bullets in Diplomats Crosshairs

Franklin & Marshall’s women’s team entered Sunday trailing Gettysburg by 33.5 points. The Diplomats will throw 13 swimmers at the problem with nine swimmers in the championship finals and four in the consolation finals. They will contend with seven Bullets in the championships and four more in the consolations on the Centennial Conference’s final night of Championship competition. (more)

Bullets Shoot Down F&M’s Title Hopes

Gettysburg entered Sunday’s portion of the Centennial Conference Championships with a 33.5 point lead on Franklin & Marshall. The Bullets managed to fend off the upstart Diplomats to capture their 12th conference championship. (more)

Women Move Seven Into Championship Finals

Franklin & Marshall’s women’s swim team propelled seven swimmers into tonight’s championship finals at McGinness Pool. 12 swimmers will appear in the consolation finals. (more)

McCabe Posts NCAA Automatic Qualifier

Brittany McCabe completed a four-year run on the Centennial Conference’s 100-yard backstroke championship in style, posting an NCAA Division III National Championship automatic qualifying mark of 57.36. The Diplomats actually lost ground on the race as their 2.5 lead was eclipsed by the four Gettysburg Bullets in the same final. Gettysburg’s Emilie Youmans took silver with a B-Cut time, helping the Bullets get back out in front by 22.5 points. (more)

Bullets Dodge Diplomats on Day One

Gettysburg holds a 4.5-point lead on Franklin & Marshall with one day on the books at the Centennial Conference Championships. The difference came in the night’s two relays. (more)

Women's Swimmers Start Strong

Franklin & Marshall landed seven swimmers in the three individual finals that will be contested Friday evening at the Centennial Conference Championships. (more)

Gettysburg Edges Women’s Swimming

Gettysburg’s women’s swim team handed Franklin & Marshall its first setback inside of Centennial Conference (CC) action on Saturday. After falling behind early, the Bullets (8-2, 7-0 CC) handed the Diplomats (7-5, 6-1 CC) a 112.5-92.5 loss at McGinness Pool. (more)

Women Hand Dickinson First Setback

Franklin & Marshall’s women’s swim team handed Dickinson its first loss of the season during Centennial Conference (CC) competition on Saturday. The Diplomats (7-4, 6-0 CC) remain perfect in the league this year on the strength of a narrow 111-94 win in the Red Devils’ (7-1, 4-1 CC) pool. (more)

One of the most successful coaches in the history of Centennial Conference (CC) swimming, Rueppel has led the men's and women's swimming programs to eight CC Championships (out of a possible 16) in eight seasons. During his time at Franklin & Marshall, Rueppel has guided the swim teams to new heights. Highlights of his tenure include: Scholar All-American Honors in seven consecutive years; 45 individual athletes named to CC Academic Honor Roll; eight CC Championships; set 83 school records; set 55 CC records; 124 individual or relay CC Champions; 34 Division III All-Americans; Five CC Championship Meet Outstanding Performers; 3 National Champions.
