F&M Falls Short in Regular-Season Finale

CARLISLE, Pa. – Franklin & Marshall's No. 22 ranked women's squash team came up just short in a tough 5-4 loss against No. 19 Dickinson on the road Saturday. The contest marked the final regular-season match of the 2017-18 season. 

The Diplomats dropped to 2-14 overall on the year while the Red Devils improved to 2-14. 

By the Numbers 

The majority of F&M's success occurred at the top portion of the ladder with the Diplomats securing 3-0 sweeps at No. 1 and No. 4 from Sherilyn Yang and Ellen Verry, respectively. 

However, the difference in the match proved to be at the bottom of the order with Dickinson winning each of the No.'s 7-9 contests. Overall, five individual matches went past three games with four being pushed to five.
