Incorvaia Named to Academic All-District II Second Team

LANCASTER, Pa. – Franklin & Marshall senior, Lauren Incorvaia (Manaplan, N.J. / St. John Vianney), was named to the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA)/ESPN the Magazine Academic All-District II Softball Team when it was announced Thursday morning.
Incorvaia was named to the College Division Second Team as a catcher, adding to an impressive list of postseason honors. She was named a National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) All East Region Second Teamer earlier this week and was named the Centennial Conference’s First Team catcher last week.
Incorvaia started all 36 of F&M’s games behind the dish. She nabbed half of the 20 runners who tested her arm this season and posted a .984 fielding percentage. Offensively, she hit .432 with 17 extra base hits, including nine home runs and six doubles. Incorvaia drove in 34 runs and drew 18 bases on balls, three intentional. She was perfect on her four steal attempts.
In order to be eligible for Academic All-District Team
consideration, a student-athlete must be a varsity starter or key
reserve and maintain a cumulative grade point average of 3.20 on a
4.00 scale. The student-athlete must have reached sophomore
eligibility and academic standing at the institution and must have
completed one full academic year. CoSIDA's District II covers
Delaware, the District of Columbia, Maryland, New Jersey,
Pennsylvania and West Virginia.
