Diplomats Blanked in Season Finale

SWARTHMORE, Pa. - The Franklin & Marshall women's soccer team was shutout 4-0 at Swarthmore on Saturday night. The Centennial Conference (CC) loss closes out the season for F&M.
Four different players scored for the Garnet (13-4, 7-3) with two getting help from Alyssa Bowie. Maggie DeLorme made her first goal of the season count as the game winner, heading home a Taylor Rhodes insertion on a corner kick early in the 25th minute.
The Diplomats (3-15, 1-9 CC) were able to stem the tide for the remainder of the first half before Bowie's passing set up back-to-back goals separated by 2:11. Bowie's lead pass to Megan Colombo set up her sixth goal of the season at 50:16. Bowie then sent a cross unto the box to lead Kirsetn Peterson to ther third of the year.
8:01 later, Swat tacked on its final marker when Julia Luongo blasted a shot into the top corner.
