LANCASTER, Pa. - Playing in front of a Homecoming crowd, Danielle David scored her third game-winning goal and Amy Cawley recorded two assists to lead Franklin & Marshall to their fourth straight win with a 3-0 victory over McDaniel in Centennial Conference (CC) action on Saturday night.

The Diplomats (8-2, 4-1 CC) did not allow the Green Terror (4-7, 1-3 CC) to get a shot off in the first half, while blasting 14 of their own to take a 1-0 lead that would stand to stay in second place in the CC with their fourth conference win. Meaghan Mancini (Bedford, NY/The Fox Lane) and Shannon Summers (North Wales, PA/The Hill School) also scored for F&M on the night.

David scored just 6:15 into the game, gathering the ball out of the air and beating two defenders before sliding a low left-footed shot into the far right corner of the goal.

The game also featured a halftime presentation and dedication of the Ken Gramas Pavilion with the score showing the Diplomats ahead 1-0.

In the 48th minute, Cawley sent the ball from the left side into the middle and found Mancini for the one-touch shot from 10-yards out

The first shot for McDaniel came with 32:45 left in the game on a direct kick from Jackie Kahler just outside the box.

Cawley got her second assist with a cross from the right side and found the head of Summers at the 64:47 mark of the second half.

The Green Terror's goalie Leanne Hollinger made 10 saves on 27 shots. Erin Roy did not need to make a save enroute to her sixth shutout.

The Diplomats return to action on Saturday at Johns Hopkins. Game time is 4 p.m.
