LANCASTER, Pa. -- Franklin & Marshall will host an NCAA Division III Women's Lacrosse Regional Round for the third time in as many years. The #2 Diplomats (17-1) learned their fate Sunday evening during the selection show on CBS College Sports TV.

The Diplomats will host three teams next weekend, May 9-10. The winners of two Wednesday first round games will come to Lancaster. The winner of the St. John Fisher (10-6)/Wooster (12-3) matchup will face the winner of the Tufts (14-2)/Drew (10-7) meeting. F&M will host either Rowan (8-8) or Union (14-3). Those teams will face off in first round action on Wednesday.

The Diplomats faced both Union and Rowan in the regular season. F&M handed Rowan a 15-4 setback on March 10th, and escaped a tightly contested 11-10 meeting with Union on March 23rd. Game times will be posted to GoDiplomats.com once they are set.

The Diplomats are making their fourth consecutive NCAA Championship tournament appearance and 12th overall. F&M is 11-10 in the NCAA postseason and has appeared in back-to-back National Championship games. The Diplomats won the 2007 National Championship and fell to Hamilton in the 2008 Championship Final.
