F&M’s Last Game: Sarah Clemmens free position goal was the difference as #1 Salisbury squeaked out a 10-9 win at #3 Franklin & Marshall on Sunday. Swarthmore’s Last Game: The McDaniel women's lacrosse team held on in a tight Centennial Conference lacrosse game, edging out a 15-13 win over host Swarthmore on Saturday afternoon at Clothier Field.
Despite Swarthmore’s five-goal run in the second half, the Green Terror held on to a two-goal lead to finish the game. Garnet sophomores Emily Evans and Amy Vachal both scored four goals and extended eight-game goal streaks; the scoring duo have combined for 56 goals for Swarthmore (6-2, 0-2 CC).
The Last Meeting: Nine different players scored, including three with hat tricks to lead No. 1 Franklin & Marshall past Swarthmore 19-3. Jen Pritchard netted a pair of goals and tied a career high with 11 draw controls to lead the Diplomats (7-0, 3-0 CC) to their seventh straight win. Shannon Summers tallied a game-high six points with two goals and four assists. The Garnet (4-5, 0-2 CC) recorded three goals on nine shots, getting a goal and three draw controls from Amy Vachal.

Poll Position: Salisbury is ranked #1 after Sunday’s one-goal win at Franklin & Marshall. The Diplomats dropped to the fifth position, one spot behind Centennial rival, Gettysburg. Busy Stretch: Tonight’s game is Franklin & Marshall’s seventh in 14 days.
Defending Their Turf: The Diplomats are 43-2 in Lancaster since the start of the 2005 season.
One Away: Junior, Blake Hargest, needs one assist to join Shannon Summers, Alexis O'Meara and Lauren Paul in the 100-assist club. She joined the 100-goal club in last week’s win over Union. She became the 12th Diplomat to reach the 200-point plateau in Wednesday's win over McDaniel.
The Amazing Race: Sarah Meisenberg and Hargest both have a chance to move into the tenth position in career points this evening. Kristen Foster ’06 is currently in the position with 208 points. Meisenberg is four points shy of taking over outright with 205, while Hargest is five points away with 204.
Lucky Seven, Part I: Shannon Summers is seven goals away from overtaking the tenth position on F&M’s career goals list. Head Coach Lauren Paul, who scored139 goals in her Diplomats uniform, currently occupies the spot.
Lucky Seven, Part II: Jen Pritchard is seven points away from moving into the third spot for career points. Tami Videon '96 currently holds the position with 274 points in her career at F&M.
