Haas Takes Silver in High Jump

HAVERFORD, Pa. - The Franklin & Marshall women's track team finished in sixth place in the ten team field at the Centennial Conference Indoor Track and Field Championships. The two-day event hosted by Haverford wrapped up Sunday afternoon. Haverford walked off with the team championship.
Libby Haas took silver in the high jump clearing at 1.53 meters. Muhlenberg's Katie Hicks cleared at 1.63 meters for the championship in the event.
Erin Gleason took seventh in the shot put at 10.91 meters. Johns Hopkins sophomore Amarichi Onyima won with a hurl of 12.48 meters, putting 1.27 meters between herself and the rest of the field.
Vanessa Pabon took seventh in the triple jump and eighth in the long jump, while Megan Hunter took seventh in the 400 in 1:01.62. Akua Nyame-Mensah of Bryn Mawr won the race with a time of 1:00.08.
