LANCASTER, Pa. - The Franklin & Marshall track team hosted Millersville, West Chester, and York at the Coach "I" Invitational Friday evening. Four Diplomats grabbed first place finishes at the non-team scoring meet.
Libby Haas won the high jump clearing the bar at 5' 3.25 inches, the best mark posted in the Centennial Conference this season. She also won the 400 meter dash with a time of 62.54, .02 seconds faster than Millersville's Beth Fry.
For the third time in as many meets, Alyssa Catalano won the weight throw with a hurl of 46' 8.50".
Laura Lautenbacher won the pole vault with a mark of nine feet. That gave her a one foot advantage over Linnhe Svennson of Millersville.
Shannon Weir took second in the mile with a time of 6:02.52. Millersville's Jess Leddy clocking a 5:57.29.
The Diplomats return to action next Saturday at Ursinus.
