Anno, Catalano Compete at NCAA Championships

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. - Kwaku Anno and Alyssa Catalano were the two representatives for Franklin & Marshall at the NCAA Division III Indoor Track & Field Championships held at the Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology.

Anno, who entered the weekend with a school record and personal-best of 23-05.25 in the long jump, finished sixth out of seven competitors in the second flight in the event. Anno hit the distance of 22-04.50, to just miss the finals.

Catalano competed in the weight throw, hitting the mark of 50-6 to finish fifth out of six in the first round. She qualified with a record-setting toss of 55-00. Nine out of 14 throwers make the finals and Catalano just missed the cut.
