Women's Indoor Track Competes at Susquehanna Invitational

SELINSGROVE, Pa - Alyssa Catalano led the Franklin & Marshall women's indoor track & field team at the Susquehanna Inviational on Saturday, taking second and third in the weight throw and shot put, respectively.

Catalano thre 53-08.50 in the weight throw, before placing third in the shot put with a season-best toss of 39-00.50. Erin Gleason was right behind Catalano, taking fourth in the shot put. She hit the distance of 36.10-50. Gleason also finished 12th in the weight throw with a 39-03.75 toss.

Finishing in the top 10 in the 400m was Cailtin Regan, coming in ninth with a time of 1:05.15.

In the mile, Amy Jordan led four Diplomat runners in this race with a 13th place finish overall and a time of 5:31.87. Emily Wilson clocked in at 26th (5:44.25), Kelly Farrelly in 31st (5:51.30) and Grace Thompson in 43rd (6:07.34).

Emily Weir was the leader for F&M in the 5,000m race with a 22:12.09 finish for 15th. Keira Rakoff followed in 17th with a time of 22:36.21.

Competing in the 800m, Jenna Bush took 23rd overall with a time fo 2:36.02 to lead the Diplomats.

F&M returns to action on Saturday at the Cornell Invitational. Meet time is 10 a.m.
