Women's Indoor T&F Competes at Delaware

NEWARK, Del. - Sophomore Amy Jordan won the 800m race with a time of 2:30.79 to beat out nine other runners and lead the Franklin & Marshall women's indoor track & field team at the Thomson Invitational held at the University of Delaware.
Emily Wilson led a 2-3-5 finish in the 5,000m race for the Diplomats. Wilson clocked in at 19:45.98, while Rachel Suydam came in third (19:49.85) and Kelly Farrelly followed in fifth (20:11.42).
Wilson also ran the 1,000m race and finished in third place with a time of 3:19.18. Jenna Bush competed in a distance race, taking fifth in the mile and crossing the finish line in 5:51.89.
Caitlin Regan recorded a top 10 finish on the day, posting a time of 1:26.19 for 5th in the 500m.
Joining Wilson with competing in two events on the day, Henley Siegrist ran the 60m and 200m for F&M. In the 200m, Siegrist placed eighth overall using a time of 27.84, while her 8.36 finish was good enough for 11th in the 60m.
The Diplomats return to action on Saturday at the Susquehanna Invitational. Meet time is 10 a.m.
