Catalano Named CC Athlete of the Week

LANCASTER, Pa. – Senior thrower Alyssa Catalano has been named the Centennial Conference (CC) Indoor Track & Field Athlete of the Week for the week of Feb. 16-22. It is the second time she has earned the honor this season.

Catalano reset the school and Centennial Conference (CC) record with a 55-05.75 in the weight throw at the Princeton Invitational on Sunday. The distance was good enough for first place and keeps her provisionally qualified for the NCAA Division III meet. Catalano also took first in the shot put, throwing a season-best 39-10.00.

The Diplomats will compete in the Conference Championships this weekend at Ursinus.
