Catalano Named Co-Indoor T&F Athlete of the Week

LANCASTER, Pa. – Senior thrower Alyssa Catalano has been named the Centennial Conference (CC) Co-Indoor Track & Field Athlete of the Week for the week of Jan. 25-Feb. 1. It is the first time she has earned this honor.

Catalano recorded the top national mark for Division III with 16.77m in the weight throw and set a new field house record at the Arnold Sports Center at the Lebanon Valley Invitational on Saturday. She posted a mark of 55-0 to take first in the weight throw and shattered the 10-year old record of 48-07.25 set in 1999. The senior scored 18 of the squad's 45 points on the afternoon. Catalano also placed second in the shot put, hitting the mark of 37-01.
