Diplomats Take Second in Tri-Meet

WAGRAM, N.C. – Franklin & Marshall’s women’s golf team finished in second place amongst the three teams competing in a tri-match at Deercroft Golf Club in North Carolina on Sunday. It was the Diplomats first competitive round this spring. Hollins College took first while F&M finished in front of St. Andrew’s Presbyterian.
Grace Gallagher shot a 96 (+24) on the par 72 course, good enough for fourth place. Hollins swept the first two places with Vicki Kasza and Sara Nunnally shooting 82 (+10) and 83 (+11), respectively.
Caroline Hailey and Noel Stinchfield finished 7th and 8th in the
13-golfer field. Hailey shot 100 (+28), while Stinchfield carded a
106 (+34). Andrea Huffman rounded out the F&M contingent with a
139 (+67).
