Gallagher Wins Gettysburg Invite

GETTYSBURG, Pa. -- Franklin & Marshall's Grace Gallagher shot an 86 to win Monday's Gettysburg Invitational. The tournament win marks the first of the junior's career. The field featured 21 golfers representing five teams.
Gallagher's 86 was 14 strokes over par on the 5,900-yard course at The Links at Gettysburg. She edged Gettysburg's Caroline Nathan by three strokes. They were the only golfers to card less than a 90 on the day. Leah Tuscano shot a 90 for Gettysburg, which posted a team score of 380. Their effort was matched by McDaniel. F&M placed third with a 402.
Caroline Hailey tied for fifth place with McDaniel's Jennie Weiner. Each shot a 93. Noel Stinchfield landed in 10th place with a 100. Kelly Marchisio rounded out F&M's scoring contingent with a 123 for 17th place. Andrea Huffman shot 157.
The tournament was the last of the fall season for F&M.
