Diplomats in Second at Halfway Point

ABBOTSTOWN, Pa. -- Halfway through the 36-hole Gettysburg Invitational, Franklin & Marshall's women's golf team is in second place amongst the three scoring teams in the tournament at the Bridges Golf Club. Five teams have golfers entered the event.

Grace Gallagher and Noel Stinchfield sit sixth and seventh, respectively. 21 golfers are competing in the tournament. Gallagher shot a 95 and is 16 strokes off of the lead owned by Briana Malachowski of East Stroudsburg. Noel Stinchfield shot 98.

Gettysburg is in the team lead, 35 strokes ahead of F&M. The Diplomats are 45 strokes ahead of third place Dickinson. ESU and Susquehanna have individual entrants, but not enough of a contingent to score.

The Diplomats return to the Bridges Golf Club for the final round of action tomorrow.
