Diplomats Edge Clarion

BROOKVILLE, Pa. - Franklin & Marshall edged Clarion by three strokes in a storm-shortened dual meet on Sunday. Grace Gallagher shot a 47 on the front nine to deliver the Diplomats win. Storms prevented the back nine for being paid.

The Diplomats edged Clarion by three strokes, shooting 219 to the Golden Eagles' 222. Gallagher took two less strokes than teammate, Noel Stinchfield, who tied with Clarion's Samantha Veights. Clarion's Ashley Grimm shot 51 for fourth place, followed by F&M's Caroline Hailey with a 53. Andrea Huffman took ninth place.

The Diplomats are idle until April 6 when F&M travels to the Muhlenberg Invitational.
