Diplomats Land Three in Top Ten

GROVE CITY, Pa. – Franklin & Marshall’s women’s golf team landed three golfers in the top ten of the 30-player Grove City Invitational on Saturday, but F&M finished in sixth place in the six-team field at the 18-hole tournament.

Grace Gallagher finished in a tie with Westminster’s Pam Bonneau for fifth place with a 91 on the par 72, 6,647-yard course.  Caroline Hailey and Westminster’s Lauren Seiger tied for seventh, each having shot a 96, while Noel Stinchfield took ninth place with a 97.

Washington & Jefferson’s Leslie Walker shot 86 to win the event, with teammate Alison Lazorchak in third with an 89. They led W&J to a 377 for first place in the team standings. F&M (425) was eight strokes behind Westminster’s 417.
