Ruben Named to All-CC First Team
Nov 4, 2008LANCASTER, Pa. - Mollie Ruben, a senior defender on the Franklin & Marshall field hockey team, was named to the All-Centennial Conference (CC) first team, announced today.
Ruben, an All-CC first team choice in 2006 and two-time captain,
started all 17 games this season for the Diplomats (6-11, 3-7 CC).
She recorded four goals and five assists, while making three
defensive saves. Ruben finished her career ranked third on the
all-time defensive saves list (6).
She was also among the 37 student-athletes chosen to play in the
Division III Senior All-Star Game that will be played on Sunday,
November 23rd at Ursinus College in Collegeville, PA. Game
time is 9:30 a.m.
F&M ended the season with a 4-2 win over Swarthmore on Saturday for a 6-11 overall record and 3-7 mark in the conference.
