Twelve Named to NFHCA Academic Squad

LANCASTER, Pa. – Twelve members of the Franklin &
Marshall field hockey team have been named to the 2008 National
Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) Division III Academic
Squad. Student-athletes selected for the team had to achieve a
minimum cumulative GPA of 3.30 through the first semester of the
2008-09 academic year.
As a team, the Diplomats earned the National Academic Team Award
for posting a GPA of 3.0 or higher and were one of 97 Division III
schools honored.
Seniors Mollie Ruben, Jennifer Burdo and Pamela Cassidy were
recognized. Ruben is a four-year recipient of this award. Juniors
Naomi Stone and Stolle Singleton join sophomores Katie Datin, Nora
Kinney, Lauren Wendth and Eileen O’Reilly. Freshmen Molly
Hess, Caitlin Nallo and Rebecca Willert were also honored.
