Meisenberg Selected to the 2008-2009 Jewish Sports Review All-America Team

LANCASTER, Pa. – Sarah Meisenberg was selected to the
2008-2009 Jewish Sports Review Women’s College Basketball
All-America Team. The award marks Meisenberg fourth All-America
honor in her basketball career.
Meisenberg ended her senior season with 401 points. Meisenberg
started every contest and recorded double figures in points 20 out
of 25 games. She posted her first double-double of the season with
22 points and a career-high 13 rebounds in a 61-55 win at
Swarthmore on Jan. 31
The two-time captain led the team with 15.4 points per game. She
also ranks third in the conference in assists per game with
4.04. Meisenberg became the fifth player in CC history to
reach 1,500 points and 500 rebounds for her career. She
finished with 1,529 points and 521 boards.
Meisenberg finished her career with her name firmly planted on many
F&M career leader boards. She is first in free throws (430),
first in assists (367), third in steals (235) and fifth in career
points (1,529). Meisenberg has started in more games then any other
Diplomat with 101.
F&M made it to the Centennial Conference Championship
Semifinals. They ended their season 14-12, going 11-7 in conference
action.
