Bell Rings up 32nd Place at Prestigous Paul Short

Franklin & Marshall sophomore, Ryan Bell, completed the 8k in 26:49 to race to 32nd place in a 270-runner field at the Paul Short Invitational on Friday. He led F&M to a 31st place finish . 41 teams ran in the field. (more)

Diplomats Race at Dickinson Invitational

The Franklin & Marshall men’s cross country team competed in the Dickinson Long/Short Invitational on Saturday, running in a 4K and 8K race for a combined score of 16th overall. (more)

Diplomats Compete at Spiked Shoe Invitational

For the second time this week, sophomore Ryan Bell was the top runner Franklin & Marshall, leading the men’s cross country at the Harry Groves Spiked Shoe Invitational at Penn State on Saturday. He also led the Diplomats at the Little Three Meet on Tuesday. (more)

Dickinson swept the top six spots to capture the Little Three Men’s Cross Country Championship raced on the Red Devils’ home course on Tuesday. F&M’s Ryan Bell was the Diplomats’ top finisher crossing 14th out of the 58 runners from F&M, Gettysburg and Dickinson. (more)

Franklin & Marshall's Director of Athletics and Recreation, Patricia S.W. Epps, announced the hiring of John D. Stoudt of Lancaster as the College's Cross Country Coach. Stoudt is intimately familiar with the local running scene. He served as the Head Cross Country Coach at Lancaster Catholic from 2001 through 2005, and as the Head Track & Field Coach at Lancaster Catholic from 2004 through 2006. He also served as a volunteer assistant coach at Conestoga Valley for several seasons.
