Diplomats Compete At ECAC Championships

Megan Hunter finished third in the 400m, while Jake Gomolinski took fifth in the 100m to lead Franklin & Marshall's men's and women's track & field teams at the 2008 ECAC Championships held in Springfield, Massachusetts. (more)

Gomolinski Named Outstanding Track Performer

Jake Gomolinski won two individual gold medals and anchored the record-setting 4x100m relay team to become the first Franklin & Marshall male athlete to garner Outstanding Track Performer honors at the 2008 Centennial Conference Outdoor Track & Field Championships on Sunday. (more)

Anno Repeats As Long Jump Champion

Kwaku Anno repeated as Centennial Conference (CC) champion in the long jump, earning the first gold medal for the Franklin & Marshall men's track & field team on the second day of competition at the 2008 Outdoor Championships held at Gettysburg this weekend. (more)

Tracy, Gomolinski Lead Diplomats At Shippensburg

Megan Hunter broke the school record in the 800m, while Jake Gomolinski and Steven Tracy were top finishers in the 100m and 200m to lead the Franklin & Marshall men's and women's track & field teams at the Paul Kaiser Classic at Shippensburg on Saturday. (more)

Diplomats Show Well At Millersville

Jake Gomolinski led the men in the sprint events, winning the 400m dash in 50.19 and coming in second with a time of 22.36 in the 200m. Pavel Marossine and Freddy Martino collected the other two first-place finishes for the Diplomats. Marossine won the 3000m steeplechase in 10:21.93 and Martino captured the triple jump with a distance of 43-03.75. (more)

Anno, Marossine Lead Diplomats At West Chester

The men saw Pavel Marossine and Kwaku Anno take second in the 3000m steeplechase and long jump, respectively. Marossine ran 10:07.70 and Anno hit the 6.33m mark for the Diplomats. Anno also took 10th in the 400m dash in 51.73. (more)

Diplomats Compete At Osprey Open

On the men's side, Ryan Bell led the Diplomats with a fourth-place finish in the 1,500m race with a time of 4:09.53. Also competing in a long-distance event, Pavel Marossine took fifth in the 5,000m (15:51.17). (more)

Carl Schnabel, mentor of the men's and women's track teams at Franklin & Marshall, is a native of Lancaster. He returned to his hometown to coach the Diplomat track teams in the summer of 2003, and currently resides in the city with his wife, Jennifer, and their four children.
