Tennis Claims Fourth Straight

WESTMINSTER, Md. - Franklin & Marshall collected its fourth-straight win and fifth in six matches with a 9-0 sweep of McDaniel in Centennial Conference (CC) action on Thursday. The win marked the Diplomats (8-5, 5-3 CC) second shutout of the season.
Eric Rouff (11-5, 8-4 CC) ran his winning streak to six matches, collecting a 6-0, 6-2 win at second singles. That was the same score posted by Paul Salierno at third singles. Salierno (6-6, 5-5 CC) went 2-0 on the day, teaming up with Armen Vartan (3-3, 3-3 CC) for an 8-3 win over Dan Hovorka and Adrian Pettaway. Tolly Taylor and Tim Belford (2-0, 1-0 CC) went unscathed in an 8-0 victory at second doubles.
The Diplomats return to action on Saturday at Swarthmore.
