CARLISLE, Pa. - Franklin & Marshall's men's swim team won its 15th consecutive Centennial Conference (CC) meet with a 122-83 win at Dickinson Saturday afternoon. F&M moved back above .500 on the season, improving to 6-5 (5-0 CC). The loss was only the second of the season for the Red Devils (6-2, 3-2 CC).

F&M won seven races en route to the win with the Diplomats taking first place points in the day's first three races.

Matt Jaffee, Tom Grabiak, David Apple and Matt Woods combined for a four second victory in the 200-yard medley relay. The group combined for a 1:39.34, the second best time posted in the event amongst CC schools this season. The season's top-time was posted by an F&M entry featuring three-quarters of Saturday's configuration.

Apple, Grabiak and Jaffee each went on to pick up individual wins.

Apple took the 100-yard butterfly with a 55.41, edging out Dickinson's Rob Fransiscovich who touched at 55.64. Grabiak won the 200-yard individual medley with a 1:59.51. Teammates Jaffee and David Fell gave F&M a three-place sweep in that race. Jaffe won the 100-yard backstroke in 55.25. He was followed to the wall by teammates Conor Finnegan and Fell.

Finnegan had already contributed first place points in the 1,000-yard freestyle. His 10:33.66 was good enough for nine seconds on teammate, Eliot Scymanski, and ten seconds on the nearest Red Devil. Peter Fishler contributed a win in the 200-yard freestyle. His 1:48.49 was good enough to fend off Dickinson's Andy Wade at 1:49.32.

The Diplomats return to the pool one last time before the CC Championships. F&M hosts Gettysburg next Saturday afternoon.
