Diplomats Sweep Vassar

POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. - Four of Franklin & Marshall's players did not yield a single point during a 9-0 sweep of Vassar Friday evening. F&M allowed just 13 points through the 10 matches, with 12 coming in scoring competition. The Diplomats (2-2) moved to 15-0 in matches against the Brewers (0-5).
The Diplomats Nadav Tannen posted a clean sweep at the first position to move to 2-1 on the year. Chris Gagnier evened his season record at 2-2 with an unblemished win in the third position. At the bottom of F&M's ladder, Ben Lurio (2-2) and Ketan Patel each went unscathed at their respective eighth and ninth positions. Patel's win was his first of the season.
Ry Hawley, Shane Slater and Fred Struse each won their matches surrendering just a single point.
The Diplomats move to .500 on the season with a mark of 2-2. Vassar fell to 0-5. F&M returns to action tomorrow with matches against Stanford and Hamilton at the Hamilton Round Robin.
